Groundwater Monitoring Program

The image shows an agricultural scene with farming machinery, pipes, and a field, illuminated by soft sunlight.

The Yolo Subbasin groundwater monitoring program is operated on a voluntary basis. Approximately 500 wells are monitored by our data cooperators each year.  The YSGA is serving as the coordinator of all groundwater data in the Yolo Subbasin. Our cooperators include:

  • California Department of Water Resources
  • City of Davis
  • City of Winters
  • City of Woodland
  • Dunnigan Water District
  • Reclamation District 108
  • Reclamation District 2035
  • United States Bureau of Reclamation
  • Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation
  • Yolo County
  • Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District

We are actively seeking to expand our monitoring network in data gap areas. If you are interested in joining the voluntary monitoring program, please contact us!
