At the May 2020 Working Group meeting, the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Technical Team solicited participation in a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). The TAC will have about eight members and will primarily be involved in advising the GSP Technical Team and Working Group in making sound technical decisions. As technical content is developed, the TAC will assist the GSP Technical Team in establishing processes necessary to complete the Yolo Subbasin GSP.
The GSP Technical Team and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) met on July 9, August 5, and September 3, 2020 to review the representative well selection process and methodology for selecting the minimum thresholds and measurable objectives – particularly for the groundwater levels, storage, and water quality.
Upcoming TAC meetings will dusciss the final three sustainability indicators: land subsidence, groundwater-surface water interaction, and seawater intrusion.
